Since opening our doors in 2013, Live to Dance Academy has established itself as one of the top dance schools in Oakville. We’ve been voted #1 for Best Children’s Dance Instruction for 12 consecutive years and have received accolades from the Canadian Business Review Board and Canada Choice Awards. Additionally, we were honored as Oakville’s Best New Business in 2014 and nominated for the 2015 Entrepreneur of the Year. We proudly offer exceptional dance training for students ages 2 through adult.

At Live to Dance Academy, we create a warm, welcoming environment where students can explore their passion for dance, challenge themselves physically, and achieve personal goals. Our programs help develop self-esteem, confidence, creativity, poise, and a lifelong love for the art of dance.

With over 25 years of dance experience, our academy combines a unique and innovative approach to dance education. Our fully accredited, professional instructors are dedicated to motivating and inspiring each dancer to reach their full potential, whether they’re participating in recreational or competitive dance programs.

The Studio

Our Dance Studio

Our Dance Studio Facility in Oakville

Located at 2210 Speers Road in West Oakville, our state-of-the-art dance studio offers 7,100+ square feet of spacious and welcoming environment, designed to inspire dancers of all ages. Conveniently situated just south of the QEW, our facility features four large, climate-controlled dance studios, each equipped with professionally sprung Rosco floors, 12-foot ceilings, full-length mirrors, and top-of-the-line sound systems. For added convenience, our studios include large viewing windows and closed-circuit cameras for parents to watch their dancers in action.

Our facility also boasts spacious change rooms, a welcoming reception area staffed by a Full-Time Office Manager, and two lunchroom/homework rooms with free Wi-Fi. Parents can enjoy comfortable seating areas with closed-circuit TVs to view classes. Ample, well-lit parking and proximity to shopping and amenities make our dance studio an ideal choice for families in Oakville.

The Team

Nadine Reguidel

Owner/Artistic Director

Nadine Villa-Reguidel is a graduate from York University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Dance. She is a certified instructor through Dance Masters of America Chapter #8 as well as certified instructor through the Acrobatic Arts Association, Alixa Flexibility and member of Studio Owner Alliance, bringing over 25 years of Teaching experience. Nadine’s University education has given her exceptional business skills and  intense dance training, as well as educated her in the areas of dance injuries, injury prevention and kinesiology.  

Nadine is an accredited and accomplished Dancer, Teacher, Choreographer and Adjudicator. Her creativity and passion for the arts is demonstrated through her teaching and love for dance. Nadine began dancing at the age of nine and has had intense training in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Lyrical and Hip Hop. As a competitive dancer Nadine competed across Canada and United States, receiving numerous awards and recognition for her achievements.

Nadine continues to make her mark in the dance world with her Innovative and Outstanding Choreography. Nadine has received numerous Choreography Awards, Precision Awards, Judges Choice Awards and Overall High Scores for her Choreography, which has allowed her to gain recognition for her exceptional technical training and unique style. Nadine’s students have been International Title Winners, Scholarship Recipients, National Championship Winners, and Regional High Score Winners as well as many have continued dance in Post Secondary Education, at York University, Ryerson, National Ballet of Canada and other renowned Universities.

Nadine strives to achieve the best in each student promoting strong Technique, Poise, Self-Confidence, Commitment, Dedication, in a positive manner and inspiring her students to have a love and passion for the art of dance. It has been a lifelong dream for her to own her own dance school and is thrilled to be fulfilling that dream and sharing her love of dance with her students. Nadine has created, implemented and directed both strong Recreational & Competitive Dance Programs, making her studio a place for dancers of all ages and skill levels.

Miss Nadine was also Nominated for the 2015 ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR through the Oakville Chamber of Commerce.
